Learn about the history of UIC

Search the University Archives or browse finding aids and online exhibits to learn about the history of UIC. You can also visit the Special Collections and University Archives reading rooms in Chicago at the Richard J. Daley Library on the east side of campus and at the Library of Health Sciences-Chicago on the west side of campus.

Find a collection to research

  1. Search the University Archives.
  2. Note where any collections you find are located, either Richard J. Daley Library in Chicago orĀ Library of the Health Sciences-Chicago.
  3. Ask a Librarian to set up an appointment with Special Collections and University Archives to access the records.
  4. Visit Special Collections and University Archives.
