    UIC electronic theses and dissertations are accessible to UIC students, faculty and staff though INDIGO. Some dissertations and all theses published prior to 2011 are available only in print. Visitors will need to come into the library to access both electronic and print versions.

  • Apply for funding to make my work open access

    The UIC Research Open Access Publishing (ROAPP) fund supports faculty, researchers, staff, post-docs and students who want to make their journal articles open access. If you are not funded by a grant or contract to help cover open access or paid access publishing fees, apply for ROAPP funding. ROAPP supports not only open access publishing but also fees to commercial and not-for-profit publishers who provide open access to an article immediately upon publication for an additional fee.
