Computing at Daley Library

Computers and Available Applications

Library computers are for UIC students, faculty, and staff. Computers require a UIC netid and password to log in.

Internet access is available from all library computers.

Library computers have ACCC lab software packages (Microsoft Office, etc.).

Express Terminals

A limited number of computers are available for use by the researchers and students from other institutions, as well as public users.

Borrow a Laptop

Check out wireless laptops at the Daley Library. Present your I-Card at the Reserves Desk on the 1st floor, and get a laptop for 4 hours to use in the Library. 

Software and Hardware:

• MSOffice (Excel, Word, etc…)
• Wireless access
• DVD drive
• CD-ROM drive
• 2-hour battery life

Guidelines:

• Use laptop anywhere in Daley Library.
• Borrow laptop for 4 hours. You may renew the laptop unless other people are waiting to use it.

Wireless

Wireless access is available throughout the Daley Library for UIC students, faculty, and staff.

UIC-Wireless is a service of ACCC. Please review the necessary software and wireless configurations from the ACCC.
