Need Help Researching a Topic?

Research Guides are Web-based guides that provide streamlined access to discipline specific databases, books, articles and more for study and research.

Help by Appointment

Schedule an in-depth, one-on-one research consultation with a librarian to get assistance with your research, an orientation to a database, or to become familiar with sources in a specific subject area. Appointments are available to members of the UIC community.

Build bibliographies and Manage Citations

RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. You can use these references in writing papers and automatically format the paper and the bibliography in seconds.

Need a Study Room?

Study Rooms are designed to provide spaces for individuals or groups to work on collaborative projects and course-related work during Library hours.

The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis or can be reserved at the Daley Library, LHS-Chicago, LHS-Peoria and LHS-Urbana. For some rooms, groups may take precedence over individuals.

Graduate students at the Daley Library are eligible to apply for a research carrel.

Thesis Binding Service

The Daley Library and LHS-Chicago provide thesis binding service.
