Study Rooms
Study Rooms are designed to provide spaces for individuals or groups to work on collaborative projects and course-related work during Library hours. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis or can be reserved. For some rooms, groups may take precedence over individuals.
Study Rooms in the Daley Library

The Reserve Desk schedules six group study rooms in the Daley Library for use by UIC faculty, students, and staff in groups of four or more.
Three study rooms are located at the south end of the 1st floor. One study room is on the southeast side of the 2nd floor. Two study rooms are located on the northeast corner of the 4th floor.
Open study rooms
Group study rooms on the south end of the 4th floor are available without reservation.
Research Carrels in the Daley Library
Current UIC faculty and graduate students are eligible to apply for a research carrel. Due to the limited number of carrels available, priority is given to faculty members and graduate students actively involved in research requiring extensive use of materials in Daley Library.
