This film by Kartemquin examines why 200,000 Chicagoans fought for racial equality in schools and how the struggle continues today.In 1963, 250,000 students boycotted the Chicago Public Schools to protest racial segregation. '63 Boycott, a new documentary from Kartemquin Films, explores this event.

Come see the movie and participate in a discussion with the audience led by UIC Professor of History Elizabeth Todd-Breland and UIC Professor of Educational Policy Studies Pauline Lipman.
