Join the Student Leadership & Leadership Engagement Banned Book Club, the Library Undergraduate Engagement Program's (UEP's) Short Reads Book Club, and the Black Cultural Center (BCC) for Banned Books Week as we read and discuss "Clap When You Land" by Elizabeth Acevedo.

"In a novel-in-verse that brims with grief and love, National Book Award-winning and New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Acevedo writes about the devastation of loss, the difficulty of forgiveness, and the bittersweet bonds that shape our lives" (Harper Collins Publishers, HarperTeen 2020).

The first 15 people who register and confirm their participation will receive a free copy of the book at the start of the program. We will have 45 minutes to read, and 45 minutes to discuss. Light refreshments will be provided.
