    The best way to find out when an item is due is to check your library account and your interlibrary loan account. Most books may be renewed using your library account. You cannot renew videos.

    All library locations are open to anyone, though some restrictions apply if you are not affiliated with UIC. Visitors can use books and other materials and services (such as research help) in person during most of the hours the library locations are open.

  • Access library resources from off-campus

    Current UIC affiliates (students, faculty and staff) can access UIC Library resources from remote computers, by logging in with the UIC Library proxy url. This should allow authentication for articles in PubMed, Google Scholar, as well as Library-subscribed databases and journals.

    Please note there is no remote access to library resources for alumni and unaffiliated users. Please visit the UIC Library in person for access.
