Register to vote in Illinois; deadline is October 7
Illinois voter registration applications are available at various service points in the Daley Library, including the east entrance desk and the Circulation Department, as well as at the Circulation desk in the Library of the Health Sciences-Chicago. The forms can be used to apply to register to vote in Illinois, to change your address on your voter registration record, or to change your name on your voter registration record.
The deadline to apply to be eligible to vote in the November 4 general election is October 7, 2008.
Illinois residents can register to vote in person at the office of the election authority, at a Secretary of State driver's license facility, with deputy registrars who are appointed in each jurisdiction, or via mail.
