Liaison to the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs and the Jane Addams College of Social Work
The University Library of the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Research Services and Resources (RSR) Department of the Richard J. Daley Library. Under the direction of the RSR Librarian, the Reference and Liaison Librarian will be the Library’s primary point of contact with faculty members and students in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) and the Jane Addams College of Social Work, both of which are nationally recognized for applied social science policy research. Liaisons advocate for the needs of their academic unit(s): developing relevant Library collections, designing curriculum-integrated instruction, and supporting faculty research through innovative services. As a member of the RSR department, the successful candidate will also support general reference and instruction programming for student success across disciplines.
