Images from UIC Library Collections

The UIC Library's digital image collections are made available for use by the UIC community and the general public. Original copies of many of the materials are housed in the Library's Special Collections and in the University Archives. Collection strengths include items related to the social, cultural, economic, and political history of the University of Illinois at Chicago, the city of Chicago, and the state of Illinois.

Digitized texts

In addition to digitized images, the Library has made available full text from select books from its collections.  These books mostly pre-date 1923 and were digitized in conjunction with the Open Content Alliance.  The complete set are available through the Internet Archive.
