Daley Grind cafe perks up Library
The Daley Grind at the UIC Daley Library is open for business. The cafe is located on the first floor of the Library, just south of the west entrance to the building.
The Daley Grind is operated by Sodexo, the company that provides dining services at UIC, and features organic, fair trade Green Mountain coffee and a menu of coffee drinks and teas, sandwiches, and pastries.
For summer semester, the Daley Grind will be open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm.
The cafe is one of several improvements the Library is making to its physical spaces and is a convenience for patrons who need a study break. The Library has allowed covered drinks in the building for the past few years and now will permit patrons to consume food in the designated area of the Daley Library -- a nook by the Electronic Learning Lab, steps from the cafe., field_56ba6f8fdb00c
