Instructional Technology Lab Opens in Daley Library
The Academic Computing and Communications Center (ACCC) opened its east campus Instructional Technology Lab (ITL-East) in the Richard J. Daley Library at the beginning of the spring 2008 semester. ITL-East is located at the south end of the first floor of the Daley Library in room 1-310.
The services of ITL-East are available to UIC faculty and staff as well as to
graduate assistants working for instructors and departments. The ITL
specializes in supporting teaching and learning technology on campus and provides assistance with a variety of services including Web authoring, multimedia development, digital content creation and distribution, Web accessibility, collaboration technology, and mobile computing.
The new location in the Daley Library replaces the ITL-East formerly located in Student Center East and is designed for the convenience of users who may want to incorporate library materials in presentations or collaborate with the Library faculty to produce instructional materials.
ITL-East open hours (that is, no appointments required) are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. For consultations at other times, users can make appointments by clicking on the "Making Reservations" link on the ITL home page., field_56ba6f8fdb00c
