New! ECCO, Literature Criticism, The Sixties

The Library is pleased to announce that three new electronic resources are available.

ECCO (Eighteenth Century Collections Online) is an ambitious project that digitizes every significant English-language and foreign-language book printed in Great Britain during the eighteenth century, along with thousands of important works from the Americas. ECCO and EEBO (Early English Books Online) are cross-searchable so you can search all full text from 1475 to 1800.

Literature Criticism Online delivers access to valuable works formerly available only in our non-circulating reference collection. LCO replaces our brown bound books series titled: Contemporary Literary Criticism , Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism, Shakespearean Criticism, Literature Criticism from 1400 to 1800, Classical and Medieval Literature Criticism , Poetry Criticism, Short Story Criticism, Drama Criticism, and Children's Literature Review. UIC users have access to these works from Vol. 1 to the most current one.

The Sixties is a new project on life in the 1960s. The Sixties brings together 1960-74 diaries, letters, autobiographies and other memoirs, written and oral histories, manifestos, government documents, memorabilia, and scholarly commentary on American history, politics and culture. Its scope and contents will continue to grow as the editors solicit new contributions., field_56ba6f8fdb00c
