New resources: Religion databases
The Library has purchased six new databases for the study of religion, theology and philosophy. The ATLA/ATLAS database, produced by the American Theological Library Association, is brought to users by EBSCO instead of another provider, FirstSearch. EBSCO uses specialized search terminology and more accommodation for users with a visual disability. ATLA/ATLAS consists of an index and full-text articles from major religious and theology journals. The Catholic Periodical Index, Index Islamicus, Index to Jewish Periodicals, and New and Old Testament Abstracts are selected from books, magazines, essays, journals, papers, reviews, etc. Each can be searched singly or all six databases at once., field_56ba6f8fdb00c
