Assistant/Associate Professor & Health Sciences Collections Librarian

 The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Library of the Health Sciences (LHS) seeks a tenure system faculty librarian to build health sciences collections in all formats. Reporting directly to the Associate University Librarian for the Health Sciences and Associate Dean, the Health Sciences Collection Librarian will also work closely with the UIC Library Collections Coordinator who will provide support and accountability for certain aspects of the position. This is a highly collaborative position that coordinates and consults with the LHS liaison librarians and regional department heads on an ongoing basis to support and manage the collection development needs across all of LHS.

The Library of the Health Sciences supports UIC programs in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, applied health sciences, public health, and doctoral programs in basic and clinical science, several with regional presence in Peoria, Rockford, and Urbana.
