Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor and Resource Acquisition Librarian

The University Library of the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks an energetic and knowledgeable librarian to be a part of our Resource Acquisition and Management Department. The Resource Acquisition Librarian manages purchasing and processing of monographic materials and supervises staff in this unit.  The successful candidate will be a vital part of the department’s management team and will report to the head of Resource Acquisition and Management. The Resource Acquisition and Management Department performs acquisitions, cataloging, electronic resource management, and collection maintenance for the library system as a whole.  The department works collaboratively with colleagues at all library locations to provide excellent services to our students, faculty and staff.
