Assistant/Associate Professor & Health Sciences Collections Librarian

The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Library of the Health Sciences (LHS) seeks a tenure system faculty librarian to build health sciences collections in all formats. This highly collaborative position coordinates and consults with liaison librarians to support and manage collection development across the four LHS sites in Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, and Urbana. Reporting directly to the Associate University Librarian for the Health Sciences, the Health Sciences Collection Librarian will also work closely with the UIC Library Collections Coordinator who will provide support and accountability for certain aspects of the position. The Library of the Health Sciences supports UIC programs in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, applied health sciences, public health, and doctoral programs in basic and clinical science, several at multiple sites.
